Achievement Recognitions
Brenda was awarded a scholarship honoring young and upcoming business women for her submission of a business plan to the
JB (AAC VOA President) and Javi (AAC VOA VP Program) were each awarded the 2015 Alamo Area Council VOA Leadership Award for youth.
Mr. Marshall was awarded the 2015 Alamo Area Council VOA Leadership Award for an adult

JB and Mr. Marshall each win the 2015 AAC VOA Leadership Award! Javi won the same award but could not attend the presentation.
Upcoming Activities
Alyssa announced the following upcoming activities:
Louis's Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held at the scout lodge on Sun Apr 18 at noon
Next Philmont prep-hike on April 23 in Government Canyon
Crew will have a Lock-In that night at the Scout Lodge. Activity Chair: Michalea
Karl asked that we help him participate in a service project at Morgan's on Sat Apr 23. Please attend if not on the hike.
Sun Apr 24 after going home from the lock-in, shower, change and come back to help out at Coker United Methodist Church Care Creation Day. From 11am-1pm you will help serve food and tea (and earn service project hours)
Chris's Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held at McGimsey Scout Park Chapel on Sat Apr 30 at 7PM
San Antonio Food Bank service project is coming soon. More details to follow. Activity Chair: Alyssa

Crew meetings in May: We will have a meeting on Tue May 10 but the meeting for May 24 has been cancelled by the Officers due to final exams.

Cards sell for $5 each. $2.50 of that goes into the crew member's account. The other $2.50 goes to Alamo Area Council
These cards will sell themselves. The $10 coupon for Alamo Drafthouse alone pays for the card. Also on the card: 50 cent coffee/soft drinks from Seven Eleven good until end of September, $10 off purchase of $100 or more at Good Sports (Venturers already get 10% off, this is added to that discount!)
You have until our meeting on May 10 to sell the cards. Return all unsold cards and money from sold cards that night. (If you miss that deadline you will have to pay 25 cents per unsold card when you turn them in)
