VP Admin Javi led us in the Pledge, the Oath, and the Law
Alyssa introduced the youth guests, Dr. JT introduced Mr. McCulloch who is interested in becoming an Associate Advisor.
Tonight was a Halloween-themed meeting. But I forgot to bring a camera! Good costumes, Crew!!

VOA meeting Thursday Oct 27
Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to attend the VOA meeting this Thursday night. 7-8PM at the McGimsey Scout Center.
Several Crew 285 members are running for office and this Thursday is election night.
And there are offices available if you wish to be an officer.
Come on! Help ensure Crew 285 continues to dominate the Alamo Area Council VOA by voting for your fellow Crew members!

If you need to borrow camping gear please let me or Mr. Lynch know. The Crew has a lot and Mr. Lynch has a veritable REI depot in his home. Plus Mr. Peek has offered to help with gear, too.

Venturing Youth Leadership Training Nov 5
This is a Alamo Area Council sponsored event right at our own Coker Church! It runs concurrently with Merit Badge University.
These classes are required if you wish to advance through the Venturing Ranks.
