Hike at Barton Creek Park (followed by swim at Deep Eddy!!)

The organizers of this trip were JB and Mr. Marshall. Thanks for your hard work guys!
We gathered at our usual departure site and after verifying all were there we took off for Austin. We regrouped at Barton Springs Park where we were bummed to find out that they had decided that morning to close the pool for cleaning due to the recent heavy rains and subsequent flooding of the springs. Undeterred the crew put in their 6 miles around the park and had a picnic lunch. After lunch we left Barton Springs and gathered again over at Deep Eddy pool as it was still open.
Austin was just too congested for the likes of most of us, who skipped the planned trip to South Congress and headed back to San Antonio after Deep Eddy. Some folks might have stayed in Austin a while longer, though
