Kristin called the meeting to order at 7:10
Election of Officers
Kristin and Alyssa created the slate of nominees.
They were only able to secure nominees for VP Program and VP Communications. As of this writing, no one has agreed to run for President, VP Administration, or Treasurer.
Katie was nominated for VP Program and Peyton was nominated for a second term as VP Communications. Both were elected to their respective positions.
Congratulations to Katie and Peyton!

Tonight's Activity
With the boys in one team and the girls in another, the youth raced to assemble a freestanding tent inside the Scout Lodge. This was a tent that none of them had seen before.
While the point was to demonstrate how things don't go so well when we don't follow the EDGE method of teaching (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable) the teams got these wholly unfamiliar tents up in just over ten minutes, which is not bad. Think how fast it would have been had we used EDGE!
It was too close to call, but on inspection it was discovered the young men had not quite put their tent up correctly so this evening's bragging rights go to the young ladies!
